Subject: Sponsorship for building an orphange in Velankanni

Respected Sirs / Madams,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you, my
name is Harinakshi Gonsalves and am living in Mumbai. I am a part of a
group called the Helping Hands at Velankanni.

Velankanni is located in the state of Tamil Nadu and is one of the most
popular place of pilgrimage to many Christians. It is about 375 kms
from Chennai and about 12 kms from Nagapatinam one of the Tsunami hit
areas in India. Lakhs of people from different parts of India visit the
Shrine of Our Lady Of Velankanni during the annual feast which is during
the month of August and September.

We at Helping Hand are a group who support and Help people during the
Annual Feast, we also are taking care of about 17 children between the
age group of 7-12 years who have lost their family and home during the
Tsunami. Currently these childrens are all going to good schools at
Nagpatinam and live in a rented house at Velankanni. One of the devotees
of Our Lady of Velankanni from Goa has donated us a piece of land at
Velankanni to build an orphanage for these children. We have got an
estimate from the contractors for building the orphanage and have till
today managed to collect about 10% of the said amount. The contractor
needs about 30% before he can start work on this project.

I am not sure how to go about and hence am approaching you for guidance
and help. I have all the related documents ready with me if required as
well as the web site is being developed for the same.

You may call me at the below mentioned number.

Thanks and regards
