Subject: Fwd: We can save this child
Hey
Please find below case study of patient Kartik Jha and let me know if you need any further information.
Kartik was born as normal delivery child at local nursing home in Darbhanga, Uttar Pradesh. He was diagnosed with the above problem at age of 4 months, when the child had one episode fever, cough and cold. Further he was brought to Mumbai and shown to corporation hospital in Bandra. He was shown to KEM hospital. He further underwent various investigations at private hospital and was diagnosed with above problem. Parents were further advised to get the surgery done. He was further referred to Wockhardt Hosptials for the above surgery.
The present cost is out of financial capacity of family. Mr. Gopal's and his father's earnings are not sufficient enough to meet even basic needs of his family. He also had spent on treatment of his mother as well as has responsibility of his younger brother. There are no close relatives to help this family. The family is finding it difficult to raise this amount for the operation.
Therefore, I would like to request you to consider these family’s application and help them financially for the surgery and support them in the time of distress.
Kindly issue the cheuque in favour of Wockhardt Hospitals Ltd.
Thank you,
Kind regards,

| From Suyam suyam_awake@yahoo.co.in Sep 23, 2009 Subject: A medical appeal from Suyam charitable trust Dear All,
Best wishes from Suyam Charitable Trust. This mail brings an medical appeal.
Hope you all aware that we run Siragu Montessori School near Avadi, providing free education to 400 children this year. Siragu (http://www.siragu.org) mainly started for street children and begging children. Around 50 families involved in begging being targeted, motivated and now children get onto mainstream education. Every project or an activity can run only with the support of the Community. With regard to community involved in begging are very much co-operative at all the time in sending their children to school.
CHINNAMMA is 40 year old and husband is mentally ill and a drunkard. She, with her family of 4 girls and 1 boy live in Sastri Nagar near IAF, Avadi. Two girl children and 1 boy enrolled in Siragu and doing well in their education. The family came across several challenging situations but all the time she was strong enough to face the challenges and continued sending her children to Siragu. This is the positive side of the community we work with.
Now, Chinnamma being admitted by us in RIGID HOSPITAL, Kilpauk as her hip joint prolapsed. She is the breadwinner of the family. All the time Dr.Rajkumar & Dr.Chithrakala Rajkumar of Lifeline Rigid Hospital being very much supportive to us. Now, we requested them a possible support.
Now, the community is gathering to collect some small contributions within themselves, hospital will do their best in bring down the medical cost and we need to mobilize contributions for medicine expenses, food expenses and post operative expenses of CHINNAMMA.
As the patient admitted yesterday evening, we didn't budge the amount required but started mobilizing contributions.
Suyam running Siragu with the source of daily donations from individuals, employees of few Corporate companies and friends and relatives. The patient & her children for the past 2 ½ years undergoing various medical problems due to which she has taken hand loans. If her family situation is normal, then the community itself can take care of her medical expenses with minimal support from our end.
Consider the situation of the poor lady and its impact over the community and further impact over the children studying in Siragu. Your little contributions will be highly helpful to us. We will send you funds utilization report once the patient discharged from the hospital after the treatment.
Cheque or DD in favor of 'SUYAM CHARITABLE TRUST' or by bank transfer to our ICICI Bank Account No.603101272441.
Also, your prayers and wishes can bring the patient to the normalcy.
Let us join together to support the victim.
Thanks and regards.
